Makeup Geek Colorcombo Challenge (Pink Sunset on the Beach)
Hello Starshines!
What I love about Makeup Geek is that they keep challenging our inner makeup artist! Recently they posted a picture with 4 eyeshadows proposing us to use them to create a look. So here is my try!
The eyeshadows pictured were:
Chickadee
Simply Marlena
Cupcake
Shimma Shimma
(I also used Beaches and Cream to prepare the lid)
Tutorial
1. Taking a big fluffy brush (Sigma E40), apply Beaches and Cream all over the lid, building up the color in the crease, this will help to create a smooth transition between the skin color and the eyeshadows.
2. Go on with Chickadee on a slightly denser and smaller fluffy brush (Sigma E35), take it to the innermost part of the lid avoiding the middle.
3. Take a blending brush (Sigma E25) and place Simply Marlena on the same area.
4. Then with a fluffy brush apply Cupcake on the inner corner and crease to blend and sweep any harsh line
5. Take a shader brush (Sigma E55) and place Shimma Shimma on the middle of the lid.
6. I applied a thin line of eyeliner just to darken the eye and enhance my lashes but you can skip this step.
7. For the lower lash line blend Cupcake and Chickadee together
8. Put mascara and highlight your inner tear duct and it's all good!
I really liked to play with these colors and it was really challenging to find a new way to place the colors! I hope you enjoy this look and I look forward for the next color combo!

Today I come with the perfect every day look featuring warm pinks and some sparkles of glitters thank's to the wonderful Makeup Geek Pigments! Products used:
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in: Peach Smoothie, Frappe, Cinderella, Country Girl.
Makeup Geek Pigments in: Nightlife, Afterglow
Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner
Cover Girl Lashblast Volume Mascara
Sigma Brushes
Tutorial:
1. Blend Peach Smoothie all over the lid with an E40
2. With an E25 place Frappe on the outter crease smoothing the color toward the brow bone
3. Dab Country Girl with an E35 first on the outter V before stretching it into the crease, build the color up to create a slight smokey effect.
4. Take an E55 and place Cinderella all over your mobile lid, you don't have to be super precise before we're gonna cover it afterward!
5. Take the same E55 and place Nightlife on the outter part of the mobile lid, be careful not to take it too high in the crease and blend it smoothly onto the Country Girl we put in the outter corner.
6. With the same brush again, place Afterglow on the inner part of the lid then work the colros together with no additonal product on the brush to prevent any harsh line.

Rust Glitters
Hello Starshines!
Recently I made a "small" haul in NYX and ordered nine of their wonderful pigments. The colors are so pretty and they're so affordable I couldn't resist. So today I played with one of them; but, major beauty issue, I was so in a hurry that I totally messed up my eyeliner... Well I guess there are days like this ;) Anyway here's the look!
Products used:
NYX cosmetics Ultra Pearl Mania Loose Pearl Eyeshadow in Rust
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in: Crème Brulee, Frappe, Chickadee, Bitten, Neptune and Ocean Breeze
Sigma Brushes
Tutorial
1. As always, place Crème Brulee all over the lid with an E40 to help blend the other colors
2. With an E35 blend Frappe just above the crease.
3. With the same E35 place Chickadee on the same area but stretch it slightly upward toward your browbone
4. With an E45 define the eye with Bitten and blend the color into the crease.
5. With an E60 place Rust all over the lid blending the edges well with the colors around.
6. To add more depth go back to the E45 and Bitten and enhance the color in the crease. This will also prevent any harsh line
7. Draw winged eye-liner (take your time not like me ;)
8. Fot the lower lashline blend Neptune and Ocean Breeze, doing this will enhance the orange color on the lid and really make it pop!
9. Highlight your inner tear duct and put mascara and you're all done for the eye look!
I wish you enjoy this look!

Sweet Mango
Hello Starshines!
Today I wanted something soft and wearable for an everyday makeup look! I also wanted to use Mango Tango from Makeup Geek which a wonderful peachy color with small hints of gold. It's such a wonder and compliments every eye color and skin tone! And it's so pretty and punchy for Summer! So here's the look, very light and airy!
Product used:
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in: Peach Smoothie, Mango Tango, Bitten, Glamorous, Brown Sugar and Shimma Shimma
1. After priming your eyes, apply Peach Smoothie all over the lid with and E40
2. With an E25 dab Bitten on the outter V then sweep the brush sideways back and forth toward the inner corner following the natural curve of your crease. There you want to draw a little bit of the prduct on the innermost part of the crease to enhance the round shape of the eyeball, this will help to draw attention on the main color.
3. On the center of the lid, put Mango Tango with an E55, build your color up blending it in the crease and finish with dabbing the brush on the very center of the lid to give an extra shine.
4. With an E57 place Glamorous to highlight the inner corner and work the shade up toward the crease. This step will prevent your eye to look to drawn down.
5. Put eyeliner keeping the line as thin as possible to draw attention more on the shades tahn on the eyeliner.
6. With an E20, place Bitten and Mango Tango under the lower lash line before blending it with an E30.
7. Taking an E15, place Brown Sugar on the very edge of your waterline to add some depth to your eye.
8. Highlight the inner corner with Shimma Shimma, taking a champagne shade here is important because of the pinks on the lids; the yellow will compensate the very cool-toned pink and prevent your eyes to look dreary!
9. Put mascara and you're all done!
I hope you enjoyed this look! It's so perfect for Summer days, soft but with an extra pop of color and you can pair it with bright lipstick if you feel bold ;)
Have a wonderful day
